We agree an hourly rate with you before any work starts, then bill for the time actually spent on your boat. Parts and consumables are quoted separately. If a job turns out to be bigger than expected, we stop and talk to you before carrying on — no surprise invoices.
Usually not. Most repairs, services and washes are done wherever your boat is — at home on the trailer, at a mooring, or at the launch site. Larger jobs occasionally need a workshop; we'll tell you upfront if that's the case.
Ski boats, skiboats, cabin cruisers, RIBs, inflatables, jet-driven craft and small commercial vessels — petrol and diesel, outboard and inboard. If you're not sure whether yours fits, send us the make and model and we'll tell you straight.
After every saltwater outing, ideally. Salt is relentless on fittings, trailers and electrics. If you can't get to it yourself, a standing wash arrangement after each launch is the cheapest corrosion insurance you'll ever buy.
Yes — that's exactly what skipper hire is for. Whether you want someone to run the boat while you fish, to move a vessel between launch sites, or to sit alongside you while you build confidence on a new craft, we'll match a skipper to your boat and the water you're heading into.
The stretch from Umdloti to Zinkwazi is our regular patch, and Durban is comfortably in range. Further afield is possible by arrangement — any travel charge is agreed with you before we set off.
